We are saddened to announce the cancellation of Fall Festival Weekend, for the first time since it started in Oliver back in 1997. This long-standing weekend that attracts over 4500 visitors with the Festival of the Grape and Cask & Keg, and has become an iconic celebration. While we remain focussed on the health and safety of those who live and visit our community, we look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Fall Festival Weekend on October 2nd & 3rd. 2021. Make sure to save the date!

Oliver’s Signature Event

Oliver BC in Canada’s Wine Capital. We are also home to Festival of the Grape, the premiere family-friendly event of the South Okanagan’s Fall Festival Weekend. The Festival attracts more than 4,500 attendees annually who come to sample a variety of local and regional wines, dance to live music, and cheer on the fun and chaotic grape stomp. In addition, there are mouth-watering food trucks, an interactive Kids Zone, an artisan Merchant Market and the Fall Art Show and Sale.


NEW FOR 2019! Enjoy a new opportunity for our Very Important Guests – for the first time, access the VIP area, where you will enjoy mingling with subject matter experts, winery owners and local and regional contributors to this important community event. There will be a variety of experiences throughout the day that are exclusive to VIP area, including classes, nibbles, wine pourings and amenities.


Also new for 2019 is the On-site Liquor Store, where a variety the wines on offer will be available to purchase as you depart the festival.



As Canada’s Wine Capital, Oliver produces more than 50% of all wine grapes in BC, which is reason to celebrate. The Festival welcomes more than 50 wineries from around BC to sample amazing wines from this fantastic little fruit.




Crush It! Get your team of three together to dress in crazy costumes and compete in the annual Grape Stomp, squishing your way to victory. Team spaces are limited, so makes sure you enter early.




Where there is wine, there is food. The Festival welcomes food trucks with specialties from all around the world, from tacos to Thai; from gyros to gelato. There’s truly something for every taste.

The Oliver Tourism Association, host of Fall Festival Weekend, is proud to partner with the Oliver Arts Council, which hosts its annual Fall Art Show and Sale right on the Festival grounds, showcasing spectacular works in a variety of mediums.

Jack and Jill


Jack and Jill is made up of a wide array of artistic suspects committed to keeping the tradition of “Rock and Roll” alive. In an era of auto tune and backing tracks, this band upholds the values of live music. Specializing in providing an electrifying party for weddings, private and cooperate events, Jack and Jill will leave your guests on the dance floor crying out for more.

Hailing from Penticton and Summerland B.C., Jack and Jill have been bringing down the house at various private parties, events, festivals and ski hills all over British Columbia for the past five years. This experience has led the band to becoming one of the most polished and professional party bands in the Okanagan valley. But don’t let this fool you, Jack and Jill comes to rock with sets lists that include a wide variety of rock and roll music from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. The dance floor will be cutting loose to covers ranging from ZZ Top and No Doubt to Green Day and Queen.
